Abstract An alternate synthetic approach was developed for the synthesis of digeranyl ether and naturally occurring biologically active geranyl phenols using −SO 3 H functionalized ionic liquids within 0.5–1.5 h with better yields. This further explored different activated geraniol yielding via alkylation at ambient temperature as catalyst. The synthesized were characterized Py‐IR studies to establish Brønsted acidity Hammett characteristics all four liquids. Amongst these IL‐1 exhibited beneficial catalytic activity towards excellent Reusability indicated that recycled seven times without losing which corroborated pre‐ post‐characterization IL‐1. work also highlights route cannabinoid compounds their analogues.

Abstract Improving the interfacial interaction between silica and rubber is always a key issue to be solved for silica‐filled rubbers. In this paper, composites are prepared by an in‐situ modification method using 1‐ethylpyridinium bromide ([EPy]Br) as raw material, effect of its dosage on interactions macroscopic properties natural (NR) investigated. The [EPy]Br dispersion NR verified through rheological tests calculations glass layers. Compared with original samples, composite performance optimized when usage amount at 1phr which increases tensile strength 5 MPa, enhances abrasion resistance 24%, shortens optimum curing time in half. This study expected provide new strategy improving processability silica‐containing while reducing energy consumption. Highlights filler modifying surface silica. Increasing leads reduction Payne effect. addition rubber. significantly reduces duration induction period vulcanization. allows controlling mechanical NR/SiO 2 .
