Among ruthenium complexes studied as anticancer metallodrugs, NKP-1339, NAMI-A, RM175, and RAPTA-C have already entered clinical trials due to their potent antitumor activity demonstrated in preclinical studies reduced toxicity comparison with platinum drugs. Considering the advantages of ruthenium-based drugs cytostatic organometallic triazole- coumarin-derived ligands, we set out synthesize Ru(II) coumarin-1,2,3,-triazole hybrids (L) general formula [Ru(L)(p-cymene)(Cl)]ClO

Malaria is a very destructive and lethal parasitic disease that causes significant mortality worldwide, resulting in the loss of millions lives annually. It an infectious transmitted by mosquitoes, which caused different species parasite protozoan belonging to genus Plasmodium. The uncontrolled intake antimalarial drugs often employed clinical settings has resulted emergence numerous strains plasmodium are resistant these drugs, including multidrug-resistant strains. This resistance significantly diminishes effectiveness many primary used treatment malaria. Hence, there urgent need for developing unique classes function with distinct mechanisms action. In this context, design development hybrid compounds combine pharmacophoric properties from lead molecules into single unit gives perspective towards further malaria next generation. recent years, field medicinal chemistry made efforts discovery synthesis small novel exhibit potent properties, while also demonstrating reduced toxicity desirable efficacy. light this, we have reviewed progress agents 2021 up present. manuscript presents comprehensive overview latest advancements pertaining molecules, specific focus on their potential as agents. As possible might target both dual stage multi-stage stages life cycle, been studied. review explores variety physiologically active described literature order lay strong foundation logical eventual identification based frameworks.
