German chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla L.) is an essential oil-content medicinal plant widely used worldwidely. The aim of this study was (1) to gain knowledge the phytochemical composition and analgesic soporific activity M. flowers extract its amino acid preparations, (2) predict mechanisms their effects by molecular docking, (3) develop aqueous printing gels novel 3D-printed oral dosage forms for extracts. In total 22 phenolics 14 acids were identified quantified in in-vivo animal studies with rodents showed that administration such extracts revealed potential treating sleep disorders diseases accompanied pain. Amino found potentiate these effects. Glycine enhanced most, while lysine β-alanine improved activity. docking analysis a high probability GABAA NMDA receptor antagonism COX-1,2 inhibition A polyethylene oxide (PEO) based gel proposed preparing form administration. These preparations can be example dietary supplement applications.

Homologation of amino acids is the insertion or deletion a methylene group to their side chain, which relatively uncommon chemical transformation observed in peptide natural product (NP) structure. Homologated can potentially make NP more stable biological system, but its biosynthesis yet be understood. This study biochemically characterized first three unexplored enzymes homologation pathway l-phenylalanine and l-tyrosine. Previously proposed reactions catalyzed by HphA were confirmed reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry analysis. The substrate profile kinetic parameters showed high selectivity for substrates close analogs. comparability homologous primary metabolic pathways, 2-isopropylmate synthase homocitrate are involved l-leucine l-lysine biosynthesis, respectively, was validated bioinformatical site-directed mutagenesis studies. knowledge obtained from this has deepened understanding acids, lead future combinatorial engineering

We aim to study biologically active agents in biological substances obtained from different parts of red deer antlers. Frozen antlers were separated into skin and antler base, crushed, subjected ultrasonic enzymatic hydrolysis. The press cake the extraction base was dried a vacuum unit. content protein, fat, ash, moisture studied. In addition, amino acid, fatty mineral compositions analyzed, as well molecular weight distribution peptide fractions. concentrates found contain maximum proteins (73.68–74.41%). comprise macroand microelements (84.17%), particular, high level 136,000 mg /kg phosphorus, 29,230 sodium, 5,140 calcium. All are characterized by low-fat range 0.3 1.76%. Similar protein content, total amount acids prevails antlers, equaling 40.90 43.66 g /100 g, respectively. Moreover, both samples, essential is higher than that non-essential ones. vitamins low, being represented B1, B2, B6 water-soluble vitamins. acid composition most balanced concentrate containing omega-3 omega-6. ratio unsaturated saturated equal 0.96. skin, (54.7%) peptides with low less 2.9 kDa up 6.4 using molecular-weight
