Abstract Enhancing the length of π‐conjugation in molecules represents an efficient strategy for fine‐tuning optoelectronic characteristics organic semiconductors. Nevertheless, this approach is infrequently conducted small with n‐type properties. Herein, we report design and synthesis a novel naphthodithiophene diimide (NDTI)‐based small‐molecule semiconductor, NDTI‐BBTE , featuring long benzo[b]thiophen‐2‐ylethynyl (BTE) end cap. exhibits good solubility some common solvents LUMO energy level −4.15 eV, promoting stable electron transport ambient conditions. Compared to our previously reported NDTI‐BET thiophenylethynyl cap, shows improved device performance, achieving maximum mobility 0.052 cm 2 V⁻¹ s⁻¹ under identical The XRD AFM measurements reveal that has lower d ‐spacing higher crystallinity than NDTI‐BTE . These results demonstrate increasing simple effective designing solution‐processable, air‐stable semiconductors printed electronics.
