Understanding the environment-dependent stability and photoluminescence (PL) properties of advanced perovskite materials remains a challenge with conflicting views. Herein, we investigated influence host matrix (poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) polystyrene (PS)) atmospheric conditions (ambient N2) on PL CsPbBr3 quantum dot (PQD) using single-particle spectroscopy. Despite same blinking mechanism, PQD were considerably affected by environmental conditions. The charge trapping detrapping rates lower higher, respectively, under ambient atmosphere than N2 owing to surface defect passivation oxygen. frequency rate decomposition higher in PMMA PS an atmosphere. achieved superior encapsulation its affinity toward hydrophobic ligands because aromatic rings, thereby protecting from moisture thus inhibiting decomposition.
