Purpose Implementing green innovation is crucial for firms to build or sustain competitive advantages within the context of sustainable development goals. Academic research has broadly explored how can induce behavior (GIB), examining external factors, but few studies in current literature have deeply investigated unabsorbed slack as an internal antecedent GIB. Drawing upon behavioral theory firm and integrating it with dynamic capabilities theory, this study aims address deficiency by investigating impact on GIB mediating roles two dimensions capability reconfiguration: evolution substitution relationship between Furthermore, also discusses moderating effects consumer pressure evolution/substitution. Design/methodology/approach Survey data were collected from 286 Chinese technology-intensive manufacturing empirically test relationships among variables. Findings The results reveal that a positive influence both play Comparative analysis showed effect stronger than evolution. Moreover, strengthens Originality/value This enriches driving forces contributes providing managerial implications launch activities.

Purpose The increasing global emphasis on environmental sustainability necessitates a better understanding of the antecedents green creativity (GC) and business (BSE). However, research this topic is limited, these have not been examined holistically. Considering gap, in study, we interconnected roles dynamic capabilities (GDC), technology adoption (GTA), strategies (GBS) knowledge management (GKM) influencing GC BSE. Design/methodology/approach We collected data through surveys applied to 874 companies operating manufacturing service sectors Turkey analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) method. Findings study shows that GDC positively influence GBS, GKM. Additionally, GTA affects BSE GBS only impacts GC, while GKM influences Our mediation analysis results indicate mediates relationships between GDC–GTA GC. Furthermore, relationship Similarly, GC–BSE. Finally, it was determined Research limitations/implications focus Türkiye limits generalizability findings. Future can examine variables different geographical industrial settings provide deeper insights into causal mechanisms underlying relationships. Practical implications actionable for aiming improve their practices. In addition, managers use strengthen GKM, thus realizing positive importance integrating take challenges account emphasized. Originality/value one important studies comprehensively interaction GDC, GTA, provides transformation efforts emerging economies, expanding literature beyond sector include sector.

Purpose This purpose of this study is to explore the connection between organizational innovation novelty and operational performance. Grounded in resource-based view dynamic capabilities theory, authors hypothesize that while initial increases improve performance, excessive can strain resources capabilities, leading diminishing returns. The also examine how intensity external communication moderate relationship. Design/methodology/approach adopted a quantitative approach, survey data was collected from 203 humanitarian organizations Ghana. Findings Data relief (HROs) operating Ghana support proposed positive relationship efficiency although not observed disaster responsiveness. Moreover, both positively influence relationship, enhancing beneficial effects on performance when present at high levels. Research limitations/implications contributes literature by providing detailed insights into affects HRO underscores critical roles communication. Practical implications suggests HROs should introduce scale innovative initiatives cautiously, using incremental, phased approaches ensure efficiency. High-intensity innovations reduce flexibility during response, so managers maintain low-to-moderate intensity. External crucial for but localized, on-the-ground systems are essential. Strategic resource allocation essential, with low-cost, high-impact prioritized early crises. Building portfolios balance radical smaller, incremental ones help remain agile responsive stable crisis periods. Purpose Grounded in dynamic capabilities and ambidexterity theories, this study investigates how causal interactive mechanisms promote sustainable outcomes via the prisms of green (GDC), ambidextrous innovation strategy (AGIS) resource orchestration capability (ROC). Design/methodology/approach The employed partial least squares-structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) to assess data gathered from 304 respondents Chinese manufacturing firms. Findings findings show that GDC significantly impacts different aspects performance AGIS serves as a significant mediating mechanism. High ROC amplifies GDC’s indirect impact on AGIS. FsQCA results reveal multiple synergistic pathways GDC, can bring about better sustainability outcomes. Practical implications research offers valuable insights novel for firms policymakers mitigate environmental degradation attain by stimulating through GDC.
