Abstract
Aqueous
iron
(Fe)
metal
ion
batteries
have
great
application
possibilities
and
prospects
due
to
their
remarkably
low
cost
high
safety.
However,
the
cycle
life
of
Fe
anode
is
limited
by
severe
corrosion
dendrite
growth,
which
hinders
practical
application.
This
study
employs
a
double‐layered,
two‐dimensional
(2D)
ordered
polyaniline
film
as
protective
layer
for
anodes.
On
one
hand,
it
forms
uniform
double‐layer
electrostatic
field
on
surface
anode,
beneficial
migration,
desolvation,
even
deposition
2+
suppresses
uneven
pitting
metal.
other
serves
physical
barrier
prevent
corrosive
ions
water
from
coming
into
contact
with
anode.
The
enhances
symmetric
cells
cycling
over
1600
h
at
0.125
mA
cm
−2
mAh
.
strategy
introducing
conductive
polymers
protection
in
aqueous
metal‐ion
will
further
promote
development
high‐performance
batteries.
