Abstract Nodes in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have limited energy reserves. A primary goal is to collect data efficiently while minimizing use. Clustering an approach that can help reduce consumption these networks, but transmission a stationary sink cause holes. Using mobile helps mitigate this issue, enhancing network performance. This paper presents hierarchical cluster aggregation method based on fuzzy logic and sink. consists of two phases: the clustering phase phase. The includes steps: selecting heads forming clusters. First, inference system calculates probability each node becoming head. with highest scores, residual energy, degree, centrality, are chosen as heads, those second-highest scores selected backup heads. In second step, clusters formed around phase, from their members transfer it either or base station. Cluster within direct region (with maximum distance rrr BS) send directly BS. Data other routed BS through ensures efficient usage, overall HDAMMF significantly outperformed previous methods various aspects, including mean amount used, latency, packet delivery rate, longevity, according comparison respective performances.

ABSTRACT Because of technological advances in the Internet Things (IoT), IoT surveillance applications powered by wireless sensor networks (WSN) play an important role spreading dangerous and nonhazardous data. When using such application, devices must connect multihop (Multi‐H) communication, which overloads relay nodes (RNs). This tends to cause hotspot problems becomes a major problem for network lifetime as RNs use their power more extensively. To address this issue, proposed study introduces novel hybrid‐optimized clustering–based routing protocol (HOC‐RP) issues WSN‐enabled IoT. The is distributed into numerous clusters fuzzy K‐medoid clustering model (Fuzz‐KMC). A new hybrid optimization recognized sine cosine–reptile search (SC‐RSO) algorithm employed optimal CH selection resolve WSN. In addition, enhanced gannet (EGOA) used define route effective data transmission. simulation HOC‐RP carried out Matlab platform, performance evaluated different evaluation metrics. Wireless sensor networks face challenges such as energy consumption, scalability, security vulnerabilities, and communication range limitations, impacting their overall performance reliability. To resolve these problems, energy-efficient protocols adaptive sleep modes are implemented in wireless (WSNs). Actually, LEACH clustering is widely regarded one of the primary strategies to extend lifetime WSNs. However, does not always guarantee optimal performance. In this paper, we demonstrate that effectiveness contingent on specific conditions related several key parameters, including cluster density distance nodes from base station. Our research presents a mathematically validated analysis, supported by simulation results, illustrates how can enhance WSN performance, particularly terms network lifetime, throughput, timing first, middle, last node deaths. findings indicate inefficient when within 80 m Furthermore, clusters’ densities directly Specifically, for distances less than m, should send data individually; between 83 123 two most effective; 149 increases three nodes.
