Soft
ticks,
an
important
group
of
blood-sucking
arthropods
in
nature,
are
widely
distributed
globally
and
can
carry
a
wide
range
pathogens,
including
Theileria
ovis,
Anaplasma
Rickettsia
spp.
African
swine
fever
virus.
In
this
study,
we
identified
novel
single
positive-stranded
RNA
virus,
tentatively
named
Xiabuqu
River
virus
(XRV),
for
the
first
time
from
soft
ticks
collected
Shigatse,
Tibet.
A
total
96
engorged
were
Tibetan
sheep,
with
each
tick
assigned
to
separate
pool
analysis.
The
complete
coding
sequence
XRV
was
determined
through
next-generation
sequencing,
revealing
length
9277
nucleotides
that
includes
open
reading
frame
(ORF)
encoding
proteins
such
as
capsid
protein,
helicase,
RNA-dependent
polymerase
(RDRP).
Quantitative
RT-PCR
nested
PCR
utilized
investigate
distribution
within
sample.
Pairwise
distance
analysis
revealed
all
obtained
viral
sequences
shared
high
nucleotide
identity.

demonstrated
clustered
Lhasa
Iflav
1,
Fuyun
2,
Hubei
2.
Further
analyses
indicated
is
new
member
unclassified
genus
Iflavirus
family
Iflaviridae.

Abstract
The
insect
gut
is
a
complicated
ecosystem
that
inhabits
large
number
of
symbiotic
bacteria.
As
an
important
organ
the
host
insect,
bacteria
play
very
roles
in
regulating
physiological
and
metabolic
processes.
Recently,
much
progress
has
been
made
study
guts
with
development
high‐throughput
sequencing
technology
molecular
biology.
This
review
summarizes
primary
functions
guts,
such
as
enhancing
insecticide
resistance,
facilitating
food
digestion,
promoting
detoxification,
mating
behavior
egg
hatching.
It
also
addresses
some
possible
pathways
symbiont
regulation
governed
by
external
habitats,
conditions
immunity
insect.

solid
foundations
for
further
studies
on
novel
theories,
new
technologies
practical
applications
