A new tandem sequence involving the Ugi reaction and Diels-Alder [4 + 2] cycloaddition based on vinylfuran 1,3-butadienylfuran derivatives was designed studied. It found that in case of 3-(furan-2-yl)acrylaldehyde, a one-pot intramolecular vinylarene (IMDAV) leads to formation insufficiently studied furo[2,3-f]isoindole derivatives. adducts formed from (E)-3-(furan-2-yl)acrylaldehyde, maleic acid monoanilide, isonitrile, an amine spontaneously underwent IMDAV with high level stereoselectivity, leading single pairs enantiomers 4,4a,5,6,7,7a-hexahydro-3aH-furo[2,3-f]isoindole core excellent yields. Under same conditions, (2E,4E)-5-(furan-2-yl)penta-2,4-dienal gives adduct undergoes IMDA without furan core. The 2,3,3a,4,5,7a-hexahydro-1H-isoindoles reactions allow substituent variation named isoindoles.

Abstract First, a Brønsted acid ionic liquid (BAIL) in the role of double acid-base called 1,3-n-propyl-bipyridinium bisulfonic acid-ditrifluoroacetate (PBPBSDT) was produced, and its skeleton determined via TGA, mass, 13 C NMR, 19 F 1 H NMR FT-IR data. Further, it successfully applied preparation dibenzo-chromeno-phenazine-dione derivatives ( 1a - 12a , 9–15 min, 90–98%) one-pot multicomponent domino reaction among 2 mmol 2-hydroxynaphthalene-1,4-dione, benzene-1,2-diamine, aldehydes under optimal conditions (5 mol% PBPBSDT, solvent-free, 60 °C). The proper reproducibility PBPBSDT homogeneous catalyst times), solvent-free medium, reasonable TON (Turnover Number) TOF Frequency) numbers, non-metallic framework catalyst, formation C-N, = N, C-C, C, C-O bonds single operation are distinct advantages this protocol.
