Abstract Deep exploration of user-side flexibility resources is crucial for large-scale renewable energy consumption. This paper proposed a typical integrated system (IES) that comprehensively includes wind power, photovoltaic, thermal combined heat and hybrid storage, flexible load constructed the system’s unified power flow model based on current method. On this basis, regulation capabilities different industrial residential loads were considered symmetrical source-type load, which can transfer align user demand with peaks valleys generation, thus achieving power-energy decoupling. contributes effectively to accommodation capacity when total electrical consumption remains constant. In both scenarios, reduces costs, increases consumption, lowers peak decreases requirement battery storage (BESS). Besides, days, smoothing generation necessitates 12% 18% respectively, while replacing BESS requires 23% respectively. Therefore, we obtain feasible operation ranges provide suggestions configuration design response in systems.
