Abstract The 28th Conference of the Parties (COP 28) emphasized nuclear energy's role in combating climate change, leading to Ministerial Declaration on Nuclear Energy and Net Zero Industry Pledge. This project capitalizes this momentum by exploring fusion technology with oil gas industry produce clean hydrogen. By integrating emission-free power generation capabilities existing infrastructure expertise sector, a novel approach for hydrogen production is proposed. integration idea involves leveraging heat steam methane reforming (SMR), reducing reliance fossil fuels mitigating greenhouse emissions. A comprehensive framework utilizing Aspen Plus process simulation presented model key processes assess technical feasibility economic viability. proposed system design includes high-temperature reactor provide SMR, resulting enhanced reduced study compares performance integrated conventional methods, highlighting its potential increased efficiency sustainability.
