Abstract The aim of this study was to investigate the association between hypothyroidism in early pregnancy and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) effect probiotics. Patients with normal pregnant women during same period were included methane–hydrogen breath test compare incidence SIBO, smoothed curve fit, differences clinical symptoms. For those who combined rate symptom conversion, thyroid hormones, changes associated inflammatory indexes compared after 21 days treatment probiotics on top conventional levothyroxine sodium tablets. results are as follows: (1) SIBO patients 56.0%, significantly higher than 28.0% period. (2) highest value hydrogen plus methane gas 90 min hypothyroid showed a significant negative correlation FT4 ( p < .001, SD = 0.169). (3) Abdominal distension symptoms increased both groups .036, .025), conversion 69.2% 75.0%, respectively. (4) In hypothyroidism, TSH, CRP before .012) decreased .008). Hypothyroidism is probiotic effective.

Chronic diarrhea, including diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome (IBS-D), osmotic bile acid and antibiotic-associated is a common problem which highly associated with disorders of the gut microbiota composition such as small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) so on. A growing number studies have supported view that Chinese herbal formula alleviates symptoms diarrhea by modulating fecal microbiota. polysaccharides (CHPs) are natural polymers composed monosaccharides widely found in herbs function important active ingredients. Commensal has an extensive capacity to utilize CHPs play vital role degrading into short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs). Many CHPs, prebiotics, antidiarrheal promote growth beneficial bacteria inhibit colonization pathogenic bacteria. This review systematically summarizes relationship among microbiota, chronic well recent progress on impacts advances possible diarrhea.

Wolfiporia cocos (F. A. Wolf) Ryvarden and Gilb. is a widely used herb in China, belonging to the large fungi of family Polyporaceae. P. cocos; it consists variety biologically active ingredients such as polysaccharides, triterpenes, sterols, considered treasure traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Notably, most prominent constituent, are interest for their superior anti-obesity, anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, immunomodulatory activities. polysaccharides can be divided into water-soluble water-insoluble which may contribute diverse biological functions. Numerous scholars have focused on extraction process, structural identification, classical pharmacological pathways but there few systematic reviews regulating gut microbiota. Natural products closely related intestinal health, further exploration these mechanisms warranted. This review summarizes recent cases microbiota promote health discusses relationship with bioactive It aims provide basis exploring new promoting offers vision development functional products.

The gut microbial importance and its crucial roles in host digestion, immunity, metabolism have received widely attention. Horses, especially indigenous varieties such as Mongolian horses (MGH) Guizhou (GZH), not sufficient attention, the characteristics of their microbiota are still unclear. For this purpose, we collected faecal samples from eight MGH GZH to compare differences using amplicon sequencing. results alpha diversity analysis indicated that bacterial fungal abundance were significantly higher than those MGH. Meanwhile, beta revealed there significant structures between Although dominant phyla same, a large number different bacteria fungi both groups. Moreover, observed 32 (23 9 phyla) 718 genera (383 335 genera) with Notably, study also some intestinal functions GZH, chemoheterotrophy, fermentation, cellulolysis. To our knowledge, is first report on comparative GZH. Our demonstrated richer more diverse compared Additionally, these important for understanding horse.

Intestinal microbiota and its metabolites are involved in many physiological processes of the human body play a vital role maintaining health. The occurrence kidney disease can cause intestinal imbalance, resulting diarrhea. change content aggravate renal function injury, which has bidirectional regulating effect. theory renal-intestinal axis further clarified that impaired is related to imbalance microorganisms, barrier accumulation toxin products. Because unique therapeutic advantages, Traditional Chinese Medicine treat diarrhea by enhancing growth beneficial bacteria, inhibiting pathogenic bacteria immune regulation, slow down continuous deterioration disease. This paper focuses on relationship between diarrhea, influence treatment axis. It provides theoretical basis for regulate based nephrology-induced also new idea method Traitional
