The public are receptive to risk-based innovations: a multi-methods exploration of anticipated acceptability and uptake of novel technologies for cancer early detection in symptomatic and asymptomatic scenarios

Assessing the Impact of Demographics Factors on Healthcare Professionals’ Performance: A Cross-Sectional Study

Background: The safeguarding of patients' rights is a fundamental aspect healthcare that ensures ethical and respectful treatment. Healthcare professionals play critical role in upholding these rights, which include informed consent, confidentiality, the right to receive appropriate care. Objectives: This study evaluated performance at Guilan University Medical Sciences, Rasht, Iran. Methods: A cross-sectional design was employed, involving 130 professionals. Data on demographics (age, gender, marital status, occupation, education) were collected. Performance assessed using self-designed questionnaire. All data analyzed SPSS version 21, with significance level set less than 0.05. Results: Participants had mean age 29.42 years, predominantly female (59.2%), most being single (56.2%) holding bachelor's degrees (61.5%). average score 8.38 out maximum score, indicating moderate performance. Statistical analysis revealed no significant differences scores based demographic variables (P > 0.05), despite trends suggesting higher among females medical doctors.
