Abstract Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a major threat to global public health, and antibiotic genes (ARGs) are widely distributed across humans, animals, environment. Farming environments emerging as key research area for ARGs resistant bacteria (ARB). While the skin an important reservoir of ARB, transmission mechanisms between farming human remain unclear. Previous studies confirmed that swine farm environmental exposures alter microbiome, but timeline these changes ill defined. To improve understanding determine specific time, we designed cohort study workers students through collected samples explore impact daily occupational exposure in on microbiome. Results indicated livestock‐associated where microorganisms richer than school environment can reshape microbiome resistome. Exposure 5 h was sufficient modify ARG structure workers' by enriching ARGs. These were preserved once formed. Further analysis carried host may transfer with have potential expand general population using vector. results raised concerns about broader community. Therefore, it necessary take corresponding intervention measures production process reduce possibility ARB transmission.
