Wireless energy and information transfer have been effectively employed to facilitate reliable operation communication among sensor nodes of wireless body area networks (WBANs). This work, therefore, presents the recent advances related power (WPT)/simultaneous (SWIPT) applied in WBAN composed on-/in-body sensors for healthcare monitoring. A comprehensive overview WPT/SWIPT-enabled WBANs was provided by characterizing them regarding system requirements, network architecture, device design, channel modeling. Considering optimization performance analysis are identified as major tools enhance quantify system's efficiency. Given scarcity issue, it is also imperative ensure robust, user-friendly, long-term operation; accordingly, existing battery-assisted battery-free designs discussed. Furthermore, different topologies, varying from single-input-single-output multiple-input-multiple-output, required maintain applications. Therefore, this survey includes architecture an important classification category requiring close attention. Additionally, understanding propagation models indispensable building competent WBAN. review describes modeling perspective stochastic deterministic environments. In summary, paper aims serve a reference, providing readers with insightful exploration WBANs, addressing their both advantages limitations.

Abstract Multimodal tactile sensors, as key information input channel in human‐machine interactions, have faced the significant challenges including high power‐consumption, multimodal data fusion, and wireless transmission. In this work, a battery‐free sensor (TC‐MWTS) based on tribo‐capacitive coupled effect for normal shear force fusion sensing is proposed, which enabled by 3D structure combining triboelectric capacitive with an inductive coil. A equipped contact‐discharge structures exhibits 25‐fold signal enhancement compared to conventional sensors. Based characteristics of dual time‐frequency domain existing signals, both forces can simultaneously be converted into voltage amplitude V eigenfrequency f , respectively, without crosstalk complex decoupling signals. The TC‐MWTS maximum sensitivity 2.47 kPa −1 from 2 30 0.28 MHz N between 0.3 1.0 N. Finally, excellent capability sense multidimensional interaction demonstrated. This work innovatively proposes new mechanism methodology effectively fusing processing information, may drive tremendous development low‐power system.
