Environmental pollution caused by conventional petro-diesel initiates at time of crude oil extraction and continues until its consumption. The resulting emission poisonous gases during the combustion petroleum-based fuel has worsened greenhouse effect global warming. Moreover, exhaustion finite fossil fuels due to extensive exploitation made search for renewable resources indispensable. In light this, biodiesel is a best possible substitute regular as it eco-friendly, renewable, economically viable. For effective synthesis, selection potential feedstock choice efficient catalyst most important criteria. main objective this bibliographical review highlight vital role different catalytic systems acting on variable diverse methods catalysis synthesis reactions. This paper further explores effects optimized reaction parameters, modification in chemical compositions, operating mechanism methodologies catalysts preparation, stability enhancement, recovery, reusability with maximum optimum activity catalysts. future, development well-planned incentive structures necessary systematic progression process. Besides accessible amended approaches utilization specific will ensure sustainability eco-green biodiesel.

Presently, biodiesel offers a sustainable and renewable substitute for exhausting fossil fuels such as Petro-diesel. Large scale production of could lead to positive outcomes in terms environmental quality by reducing greenhouse gasses emission Societal-Economic development. Hence, this research work focused on synthesis from novel non-edible seed oil Monotheca buxifolia using green nano-particles calcium oxide synthesized with aqueous leaves extract Boerhavia procumbens. Advanced techniques like X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy diffraction (EDX) were used characterize nano-particles. High yield (95%) was obtained at optimum reaction conditions methanol molar ratio 9:1, catalyst loading 0.83 (wt.%), time 180 min temperature 85 °C. Gas Chromatography/Mass spectroscopy (GC/MS) analysis revealed four distinct peaks methyl esters. Results Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) confirmed the formation esters sample. Fuel properties density (0.821 kg/m3), viscosity (5.35 mm2/s), cloud point (-8 ◦C), pour (-9 ◦C) flash (95 found equivalent international ASTM D-6571, EN 14,214 China GB/T 20828–2007 standards. It finally concluded that is highly potential, eco-friendly, cheaper biomass feedstock production.

Biodiesel, derived from non-edible and spent oils, presents a cleaner more sustainable alternative fuel source for diesel-powered engines. This study investigates the potential of converting Cupressus sempervirens seed oil into eco-friendly biodiesel using tellurium oxide nanoparticles synthesized with aqueous leaf extract Calendula arvensis. Advanced techniques were utilized to characterize catalyst, revealing its crystalline structure, particles averaging 45 nm. Remarkably, catalyst demonstrated efficient reusability over four cycles, achieving peak yield 93% under specific reaction conditions: methanol molar ratio 8:1, loading 0.62 wt%, time 120 min, temperature 92.5 °C. Results nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometry (1H 13C NMR) confirmed successful conversion methyl ester. Gas chromatography mass (GC-MS) analysis identified 9-octadecenoic acid ester as predominant fatty The properties met international standards, high flash point (98°C), ultra-low sulfur content 0.0002%, highlighting clean cost-effective nature. contributes significantly advancing bioproducts bioeconomy, presenting an integrated approach bioenergy production that simultaneously addresses environmental socio-economic concerns.
