Evaluation of Effects on Skin Quality of a Centella asiatica Extracellular Vesicle-based SkinCare Formulation: A 28-Day Facial Skin Quality Study

pollutants.
Centella
asiatica
(Cica)
is
a
widely
used
traditional
medicinal
herb
known
to
have
therapeutic
effects
on
skin
wound
healing.
This
study
aims
evaluate
of
Kristen
Claire
Supreme
Rejuvenation
Essence®
with
Cica
EV
as
main
active
ingredient,
facial
appearance
quality
in
healthy
participants.
Twenty
participants
(4
males
16
females;
average
age
36.5)
were
enrolled
underwent
24-hour
patch
test
forearm
assess
potential
irritation
or
allergic
reactions.
The
product
was
applied
twice
daily
for
28
days.
Facial
assessments
conducted
before
use
at
7,
14,
21,
days
application.
Measured
parameters
included
hydration,
melanin
content,
elasticity,
wrinkle
percentage,
redness
area
pore
percentage.
After
treatment,
significant
improvements
observed
hydration
wrinkle,
redness,
distribution,
while
content
reduced
significantly.
effectively
improved
texture,
brightened
complexion,
showed
slowing
aging,
making
it
promising
candidate
skincare
applications.
