This work investigated the effect of Desulfovibrio caledoniensis (D. caledoniensis) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (P. aeruginosa) on microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC) behaviour 70Cu-30Ni alloy using surface analysis electrochemical techniques. The results demonstrated that mixed medium containing D. P. further accelerated MIC compared to single species medium. addition exogenous pyocyanin (PYO) increased maximum pit depth from 5.40 μm 6.59 μm, current density (icorr) by one order magnitude. From perspective bioenergetics extracellular electron transfer (EET), comprehensive mechanism induced was proposed.
