Thus, it critical screen elite germplasm resources with or improved under high levels nitrogen, investigate molecular mechanisms regulation accumulation. few studies on these aspects have published. In this review, we analyze effect growth development rapeseed, including photosynthetic assimilation, substance distribution, synthesis lipids proteins. process, expression genes related absorption, transport changed application, which enhanced ability carbon assimilation increased biomass, thus leading higher After crop enters reproductive phase, photosynthates body are transported developing for protein lipid synthesis. precedes synthesis, large number consumed during weakens Moreover, suggest several research directions, especially exploring involved accumulation regulation. study, summarize effects at both physiological levels, aiming reveal and, thereby, provide theoretical basis breeding content.

Abstract To reduce the C footprint of human activities, there is a growing need for alternative energy sources including production bioenergy feedstocks. Miscanthus × giganteus high yielding grass with low environmental impact and potential feedstock use. Studying composition aboveground tissues important understanding quality biofuel conversion how crop residue may affect soil input management. Data on leaf stem chemistry carbon (C), nitrogen (N), macronutrient concentrations, optical characteristics water extractable organic matter (WEOM) was analyzed to identify differences in between modeled variables that be correlated tissue chemistry. Leaves stems were dominated by N, potassium (K), calcium (Ca), phosphorus (P), magnesium (Mg), but overall, leaves contained higher nutrient concentrations compared stems. The displayed elevated Si:K (0.0935) Ca:K (0.445) ratios lower C:N (36) C:P (323) (0.0560, 0.145, 150, 645, respectively). Leaf WEOM large, aromatic, complex structures, while small, recently produced structures. Varying relationships found mobile pool surface (0–15 cm) deep (45–60 soils. Overall, had chemical indicative reduced suggest dynamic linkage physiology this active pool. These results have implications allocation management practices.
