Engaging students in learning activities is the main responsibility of teacher. The becomes more challenging when we approach teaching and process through an online platform. Students at all levels, from elementary schools to graduate need have some specific engagement arrangements virtual or platform for their smooth learning. Student active attention extremely vital attaining desirable outcomes. Studies about shows that human span 8 seconds only this increases significantly 120 watching a video. As our educational practices moving towards rapid use digital devices platform, understanding student platforms crucial. However research important condition limited. objectives study assess different dimensions, factors strategies improving platforms. Abstract Aim This study aimed to explore the perception of nursing students regarding their engagement in digital learning environments. Design At one universities Saudi Arabia, a qualitative descriptive design was used among from various academic levels. Methods Data were collected using focus group discussions sample 23 participants. analysed thematic analysis. The COREQ Standards for Reporting Qualitative Research report this study. Results While sharing perceptions reflected on behavioural and cognitive aspects engagement, yet they did not include emotional conceptualization. However, results showed that, while experiences tended reflect engagement. According study's results, self‐paced studying, reflective exercises, interaction with audiovisual dynamic content all encourage activation past knowledge online learning. modality also found be safe convenient approach participating students. Digital presents as promising educational that extends beyond pandemic yet, efforts should put place facilitate optimal student meet outcomes. Further research is needed measure its impact other pertinent indicators objectively.
