Trauma testis menjadi penyebab tersering ketiga dari nyeri skrotum akut yang dapat mengakibatkan berbagai tingkat kerusakan testis, sehingga menyebabkan infertilitas. merupakan faktor risiko infertilitas terkait dengan adanya peningkatan radikal bebas, inflamasi berdampak pada penurunan kualitas sperma, dan Blood Testis Barrier (BTB).
