Abstract Rubber exhibits excellent mechanical properties after cross‐linking, which provides a strong foundation for its application across various fields. However, the intricate cross‐linked network structure significantly impairs reprocessing capabilities of rubber materials, thereby posing difficulties their recycling. To overcome this challenge, we utilize twin‐screw extruder devulcanization‐grafting modification waste ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), facilitating large‐scale recycling and processing while simultaneously maximizing performance reclaimed rubber. Under thermal shear, desulfurizing agent zinc diethyl dithiocarbamate (ZDC) reacts with cross‐linking bonds (SS, CS) in rubber, leading to scission chains subsequent opening rubber's network. Simultaneously, graft maleic anhydride (MAH) introduces new functional groups (OH/COOH), can improve performance. Compared devulcanization modified alone, exhibited better tensile modulus, strength (12.02 MPa), tear (29.91 kN/m). Furthermore, recycled was comparable that original By adopting technology, challenges environmental pollution resource caused by accumulation be effectively addressed, providing solution sustainable utilization Highlights Mechanical‐chemical recover large quantities (EPDM). Zinc opens EPDM enable degradation. Maleic during enhances properties. Tensile reaches 100%
