Social media usage among adolescents has significantly increased in recent years, playing a crucial role contemporary youth culture. The increasing adoption of the internet across all age groups led to numerous benefits, but also concerns regarding its misuse, particularly adolescents. However, alongside these problems related misuse have escalated. Background/Objectives: A review literature reveals lack studies examining long-term effects childhood experiences on later social addiction. This study aims investigate impact addiction during adolescence. Methods: employs relational survey model, quantitative research method. Data were collected using Childhood Experiences Scale and Media Addiction for Adolescents. study’s participants included 371 attending secondary education institutions under Ministry National Education Türkiye 2024–2025 academic year. Participants selected through simple random sampling. Relationship tests used analyze data. Results: found that with adverse school exhibited significant relationship was between time spent media. Furthermore, terms gender variable, it females scored higher Adolescents compared males.
