Entomopathogenic fungi (EPF) treatment of plants may affect the survival and feeding preferences herbivorous pests. However, comprehensive studies on fitness across their entire life cycle, behavior, physiological changes in herbivores consuming EPF-treated within tripartite interactions EPF, plants, pests are still limited. In this study, we utilized tables, electrical penetration graph (EPG), metabolomics to uncover biological characteristics Bemisia tabaci tomato inoculated with Beauveria bassiana through root irrigation.

The entomopathogenic endophytic fungus Beauveria bassiana can colonize plants resulting in growth promotion and protection against phytopathogenic microorganisms. However, physiological changes potato (Solanum tuberosum) during this interaction are poorly understood. In the present work, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry high-performance liquid chromatography were used to analyze sterol, fatty acid, phenolic acid concentrations inoculated with B. conidia soil. We showed an increase amounts of stigmasterol, minor sterol compounds, some hydroxy acids leaves after fungal treatment. Moreover, levels hydroxycinnamic acids, especially chlorogenic elevated roots following inoculation. propose that these could have been caused by oxidative reactions, alterations may resulted growth-stimulatory protective effects on plants.

Beauveria bassiana (B. bassiana) is a significant entomopathogenic fungus (EPF) in agriculture as sprayable biocontrol agent. It has the potential to be established an endophyte (ENP) various crops, resulting beneficial effects for host plants, including resistance pest insects and increased growth yield. However, it not known whether B. strain such favorable impact on plant, since common soil microorganism. Therefore, techniques that allow monitoring will advantageous. To date, methods detecting or specific EPF after external application are scarce. In present study, planta nested PCR technique was standardized differentiate between three strains (GHA, PTG4, BB37) endophytes bean plants under laboratory conditions by insertion profile of four group I introns located 28S gene ribosomal DNA. This recognized distinct pattern bands different sizes each strain, with sensitivity 1 pg per 10 ng plant molecular approach may more effective evaluate their significance crops.
