Since the industrial revolution, countries have been facing issue of climate change and environmental degradation. It is widely believed that investment in research development renewable energy can play a pivotal role fighting against change. However, financial risk also increases, which influence technology R&D budgets sustainability. Nevertheless, current literature silent on linkage between risk, budgets, quality. Against this backdrop, article attempts to explore dynamic ecological footprint under Environment Kuznets Curve (EKC) framework Organization for Economic Cooperation Development (OECD) countries. For purpose, yearly data from 1984 2018 employed using advanced panel estimation methods address slope heterogeneity cross-sectional dependence issues. The results indicate improvement index significantly decreases footprints, promote globalization poses significant negative effect footprint, while consumption adds footprint. Moreover, findings validated EKC hypothesis OECD In addition, unidirectional causality detected bidirectional exists economic growth. Based empirical findings, policy suggestions are presented

After the Paris Climate Conference (COP21), carbon neutrality and environmental sustainability have become consensus of many countries. Technological innovation green finance are essential factors that can help to realize clean energy transition, emission reduction climate change mitigation. To investigate pathways for sustainable development, this study includes into simultaneous equations models within energy-environment-climate nexus. We examine dynamic relationships a sample 49 countries with bonds issued period 2007–2019. The results confirm there bidirectional among renewable consumption, pollution change. Innovation significantly promote reduce CO 2 emissions mitigate Green effectively alleviate Accelerating development is primary motivation development. moderates relationship between positive impact on consumption enhanced by higher level finance. When high, has greater negative influence CO2 emissions, weakened.

Global warming has become a major concern for countries around the world. In this context, developed have decided to reduce global emissions achieve sustainable development. The energy mix of OECD consists 80% fossil fuels and accounts about 35% worldwide carbon emissions. Therefore, it is important analyze how environmental factors affect in countries. This study uses energy, renewable (RE), GDP period 1990–2019. Unlike previous studies, we will estimate two separate models FFE RE. To evaluate empirical results, advanced panel data estimation methods using cointegration test CS-ARDL technique are employed examine long-run relationship between variables. results demonstrate that fuel use increase both short long term. However, RE hurts associated with development assumed although degrades environment, economic growth helps by reducing Overall, our shows essential their sustainability goals because reduces share overall mix. Furthermore, order recommended begin long-term planning
