Rapidly evolving innovation and digitalization have captured the focus of policymakers scholars regarding their potent role in influencing environmental quality. The present research analyzes impact these variables on carbon emissions Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa economies from 1990 to 2021. This also explores economic growth, quadratic green innovation, energy emissions. Using several panel diagnostic tests, this validates heterogeneous slopes, presence cross-sectional dependence, significant cointegration. Due mixed integration order, uses a augmented autoregressive distributed lag model, results show that expansion are drivers both short long run. However, digitalization, policy stringency, improving quality sustainability. long-term tested by employing series parametric nonparametric regressions. recommends further investment development, digital technologies, strengthening policies attain sustainable development.

ABSTRACT To fulfil the commitments of Paris Agreement, China will strive to achieve carbon peak (CP) by 2030. It is necessary identify evolution characteristics China's emissions and provide a scientific path prediction for formulation reasonable emission reduction policies measures. This study summarises predicts pathway using intensity (CEI) percentage non‐fossil energy consumption (NEC) as indicators, combining MSIH(3)‐AR(2) model recurrent neural network. The results show that: (1) CEI experiences ‘low decline regime’ (LDR), ‘medium (MDR) ‘high (HDR), while share NEC goes through fluctuation (LFR), growth (MGR) (HGR). (2) For CEI, switching probability from MDR HDR 74.88%, illustrating substantial improvement. NEC, MGR HGR 28.92%, but returning 61.76%, indicating an adjustment. (3) By 2030, reach 0.9896 tons/100 million CNY, decreased 66.35% compared with 2005. While rise 26.61%. Based on these, policy suggestions such strengthening top‐level design, upgrading mix accelerating green technological changes are proposed break bottlenecks reaching CP further zero goal. expected theoretical support empirical evidence achievement in China, references promoting ‘dual carbon’ process other countries.

Abstract This research investigates the role of human behavior, particularly Omani youth, in context societal influences on environmental sustainability. The is based positivist paradigm using quantitative approach through questionnaire survey strategy. A sample size 216 UG students (43 – Male, 173-Female), convenience sampling were chosen for non-experimental hypothesis testing research. Cultural values & norms, educational systems, and economic policies practices constituted dimensions with mediation -environmental awareness knowledge ethics as behavioral Eight hypotheses tested among which five supported. Based study outcomes, suggestions have been drawn to concerned ministry so that interventions may be administered promote pro-environmental behavior students. These include possible renewable energy initiatives, waste management strategies, afforestation green spaces, water conservation programs, education awareness, eco-friendly transportation, building standards, international collaboration, biodiversity conservation. findings this would interest both academics practitioners
