ABSTRACT As the urgency of global sustainability goals intensifies, achieving responsible production and consumption (RPC) has become a critical priority, especially in emerging markets where economic growth must be balanced with environmental stewardship. Businesses play pivotal role advancing sustainability, understanding how governance practices influence RPC is essential for aligning corporate strategies objectives. This study investigates circular economy innovations stakeholder engagement moderate link between indigenous directors RPC. Using secondary data from 439 manufacturing firms across MENA countries 2012 2022, we employed method moments quantile regression (MMQR) fixed effects estimations, addressing endogeneity through GMM modeling propensity score matching techniques. ABSTRACT This study builds upon and extends the literature on corporate governance (CG), sustainability growth, innovation by examining how mechanisms influence responsible consumption production (RCP), with technological as a moderating factor. Drawing insights from resource‐based institutional theories, we develop models that link RCP, driven innovation. Using data 282 listed manufacturing firms in China 2010 to 2022, employed advanced econometric techniques instrumental variables ensure robustness of our findings. The results provide strong evidence circular economy committee, environmental management team, CSR gender diversity positively impact while risk committee board tenure rate exhibit negative association RCP. Climate change presents a critical challenge to achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 13 on Action. This study examined effect of corporate governance carbon emission disclosure and performance among 150 non-financial firms listed Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2016 2022. Drawing stakeholder, legitimacy, agency, resource dependence theories, utilized panel data comprising 468 firm-year observations employed ordinary least squares (OLS) regression assess both direct moderating effects. The findings indicate that attributes covering board size, gender diversity, foreign ownership, presence CSR committee had positive performance. Moreover, these factors enhanced correlation between performance, suggesting robust could strengthen environmental impact transparency. However, independence exhibited negative or statistically insignificant effect, highlighting potential disconnect expectations oversight in emerging markets.
