Three furan and/or thiophene-2-carboxamide compounds, namely N-(furan-2-ylmethyl)thiophene-2-carboxamide (1), N-(furan-2-carbonyl)furan-2-carboxamide (2), and N-(Thiophene-2-ylmethyl)furan-2-carboxamide (3) were investigated the enzyme kinetic studies by urease, acetylcholinesterase (AChE), butyrylcholinesterase (BChE). The inhibition constant (Ki) of Compound (CPD)3 AChE was determined as 0.10 mM, Ki value BChE 0.07 mM. In comparison, CPD1 urease These CPDs examined for antioxidant activity DPPH˙ scavenging method. CPD3 exhibited 98.93% DPPH compared to ascorbic acid, positive control group. Furthermore, DNA-protective activities compounds investigated, DNA protection observed be 78%. findings suggest that thiophene/furan carboxy amide-containing might exploited potential structures evaluating pharmaceuticals with greater potency.
