Construction of coordination nanosheets (CONASHs) containing both inert and labile metal ions together is fundamentally significant but remains synthetically unachievable until now difficult to realize via conventional synthetic approach CONASHs due variable complexation conditions between heterometal organic ligands. Here, we demonstrate a strategy harness into structure by introducing the concept metalloligand. Metalloligands comprising ion (Os2+/Ru2+) free coordinating sites are designed synthesized can be further used as ligand bind (Fe2+) for building heterometallic (HMCONASHs). Following this, two HMCONASHs homoleptic complexes constructed that show broad absorption electrochemical window with reversible dual redox activity. Further, HMCONASH films exhibit multicolor electrochromism at different voltages, indicating their potential various applications. This may open create diverse structures functions hard achieve traditional approach.

ABSTRACT Organophosphorus pesticides (OPs) are widely used worldwide. However, OPs residues can cause serious health problems. Traditional analytical approaches for detection fail to offer simple, real‐time, and visualization. Herein, Ultrathin Eu 3+ @Cd‐MOF nanosheets with a thickness of 6 nm were synthesized via simple solution route. Due the antenna effect between 4,4′‐dicarboxydiphenyl ether (H 2 OBA), 2,2′‐bipyridine (BPY), , as‐prepared displayed characteristic fluorescence emission ions at 616 under excitation 323 nm. The strong was quenched by p‐nitrophenyl phosphate (PNPP) without any interference from other pesticide in aqueous systems; serve as highly sensitive probe visualizing detecting PNPP water systems low LOD 65 nM rapid response time 20 s. A systematic investigation sensing mechanism indicated that combination photoelectron transfer (PET) inner filter (IFT) resulted selective PNPP. luminescence approach offers rapid, low‐cost, visualized method remaining on fruits vegetables surfaces.
