Abstract The hard suckers commonly used in surgical operations often cause adsorption extrusion damage to the biological tissue. To tackle this problem, from perspective of bionics, through in-depth observation and research on special sucker process mechanism hypostomus plecostomus (HP), paper proposes a bionic soft (BSHPS) with variable stiffness gradient structure good performance moist irregular tissues. BSHPS comprises lip disc, pre-valvular cavity, post-valvular cavity. Through volume changes pre- cavities, pressure difference is generated between inside outside sucker, enabling disc remain sealed. experiments were carried out by an automatic tensile force measurement system equipped vacuum pump, results showed that slippery environment, improved maximum 61.9% compared dry environment. On tissue surface, as high 13.7765 N. most important advantage proposed it can be firmly adsorbed surface tissues, effectively slowing down or avoiding Therefore, expected have application prospects modern medicine.
