Abstract Background The synthesis of nanomaterials has traditionally relied on methods that pose significant environmental risks due to high-energy demands, hazardous chemicals, and waste generation. For instance, conventional techniques such as chemical vapor deposition the sol–gel process are known for their consumption production toxic by-products. This context emphasizes importance sustainability in nanomaterial synthesis, leading a shift toward more eco-friendly integrate principles green chemistry lessen influence environment. transition addresses harmful effects associated with traditional approaches promotes use renewable resources, biomass agricultural waste, production. Main body review focuses sustainable utilize biomass, natural extracts. These reduce energy consumption, limit generation, enhance recyclability, supporting nanocircular economy. Various strategies, including hydrothermal solvents, examined effectiveness producing desirable properties. also highlights broad applications these catalysis, sensing, biomedical fields, storage. Despite considerable advancements, field faces ongoing challenges related scalability, comprehensive impact assessments, need performance optimization. Conclusion presents opportunities advancing technologies reducing footprint While remain, continued research innovation promise further progress scalable efficient methods, driving development an environmentally conscious approach synthesis.

Abstract In this study, we report on the hydrothermal synthesis of MnO x ‐anchored carbon spheres as an effective catalyst. A new method is employed to prepare from cellulose. Using a solvent‐free process, prepared catalyst used convert o‐cresol salicylaldehyde. Methods including XRD, Raman spectroscopy, FE‐SEM, EDS mapping, and HR‐TEM are examine structural morphological characteristics It confirmed BET analysis that doping with increases surface area spheres. At standard atmospheric pressure, conversion salicylaldehyde highly selective due enhanced active sites ‐doped Under /CS catalysts show excellent efficiency, yielding 96% in under 1 h. This study underscores feasibility using robust for controlled oxidation . The results has great deal activity effectiveness, well being cheap reusable, which greatly its potential real‐world catalytic applications.

Objective: This systematic review aims to demonstrate advances in scientific research developing products and processes that use agro-industrial waste. Theoretical Framework: Agro-industrial waste constitutes an abundant economically viable source of raw materials can be recovered reused, contributing the sustainability efficiency industrial processes. Method: Following PRISMA criteria, CAPES Journal Portal was used as a database, using descriptors “agro-industrial waste” AND “industrial application”, focusing on peer-reviewed articles published English between 2019 2023. Fifty-five resulted from search thirty met our strict inclusion reuse for subsequent applications. Results Discussion: Of these, 16 component growth medium, 9 focused recovery immobilization different compounds 5 were product development. shows has great potential sustainable low-cost materials. The flexibility their application allows them most varied sectors, such cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, biologicals. Research Implications: these byproducts not only minimizes generation but also promotes development processes, aligning with principles circular economy industry. approach transforms environmental challenges into opportunities, encouraging practices benefit both production sector environment. Originality/Value: relevance value this are underscored by transformation previously considered disposable, positively impacting across various fields, chemicals.
