Abstract
“Gluing”
together
integrated
Geriatric
Clinical
Service
lines
(GCSL)
within
the
US
healthcare
system
is
a
significant
challenge.
Reasons
encompass
health
professional
workforce
shortages,
inconsistent
requirements
for
geriatric
educational
competencies
among
disciplines,
preconceived
ageist
attitudes
about
older
adults
with
complex
illnesses,
and
infrastructure
that
not
aligned
longitudinal
interdisciplinary
care
needs
adults.
This
review
focuses
on
three
major
characteristics
of
have
impeded
widespread
dissemination
GCSLs:
(1)
US's
historical
fee
service
(FFS)
reimbursement
system;
(2)
increasing
reliance
upon
disease
specific
specialty
services
patients
resulted
from
advances
in
medicine;
(3)
rising
consolidation
systems
over
last
30
years.
Three
options
are
also
provided
might
help
change
current
future
trajectories
local
political
advocacy
to
implement
policy
legislation;
expand
physician
by
nontraditional
means;
reprioritize
expansionist
corporate
behavior.
Each
these
interventions
will
be
hard
achieve,
but
it
time
unite
if
GCSLs
thrive
as
pathways
improve
outcomes
medical,
cognitive
neuropsychiatric
disorders.

The
pathophysiology
of
schizophrenia

bipolar
disorder

Alzheimer’s
disease
(AD)
is
a
complex,
genetically
heterogeneous
disorder.
The
diverse
phenotypes
associated
with
AD
result
from
interactions
between
genetic
and
environmental
factors,
influencing
multiple
biological
pathways
throughout
progression.
Network-based
approaches
offer
way
to
assess
phenotype-specific
states.

study,
we
calculated
key
network
metrics
characterize
the
transcriptional
structure
organization
in
LOAD,
focusing
on
genes

pathology

dorsolateral

cortex
(DLPFC).
