The article analyses the role and importance of media literacy for political communication in Russia using example student life. purpose this is to develop test a new model with an emphasis on as factor dissemination information society. This approach opens up perspectives study by public. authors have developed four-component communication, which includes following components: socio-demographic data, literacy, effects behavior. was tested online survey its impact (N = 632). also uses data from open sources databases. Using Chi-square test, it found that plays more important than characteristics. In other words, much better at explaining behavior profile respondents. conclusion, course, applies only youth needs further empirical verification.
