Abstract
Ocean
sustainability
initiatives
–
in
research,
policy,
management
and
development
will
be
more
effective
delivering
comprehensive
benefits
when
they
proactively
engage
with,
invest
use
social
knowledge.
We
synthesize
five
intervention
areas
for
engagement
collaboration
with
marine
scientists,
doing
so
we
appeal
to
all
ocean
science
disciplines
non-academics
working
industry,
government,
funding
agencies
civil
society.

Maritime
Spatial

(MSP)
is
a
complex
process

viewpoints,
