This study investigates the impact, recovery and resilience of COVID-19 on South Africa's Limpopo Province's tourism industry. The utilises surveys (n = 115) interviews 50) to examine recovery, resilience, success challenges various tourism-related businesses, including national parks, restaurants, hotels. Despite minimal government support significant like erratic utilities, high inflation, a global economic downturn, sector showed with few business failures. While some businesses in accommodation diversified into areas student accommodation, survived by cutting number staff, tapping savings, borrowing adopting cost containment measures survive pandemic.
