Introduction Patient safety is a critical competency for nursing students, highlighting the need to equip them with knowledge and skills required foster culture of in healthcare systems. Aim This study aimed examine mediating effect patient confidence, moderated by campaign participation, on relationship between students’ attitude their willingness participate safety. Methods utilized secondary data analysis approach, analyzing from conducted South Korea. The participants included 245 fourth-year undergraduate students recruited using nonprobability convenience sampling. Data were collected April 2023 through an online survey distributed members student-focused communities. analyzed SPSS PROCESS Macro (models 4 14) bootstrapping method. Results findings underscore role confidence as factor highlight positive impact participation strengthening engagement activities. These insights emphasize interplay attitudes, experiential learning opportunities. Conclusion To enhance actively safety, fostering attitudes well-structured educational strategy essential. Integrating topics into curriculum providing opportunities can prepare advocate contribute healthcare.
