Purpose. This study investigates the effectiveness of a neuroscience-based mindfulness training program on emotional states, self-compassion traits and well-being status among psychology students during an 8-week intervention. The work focuses developing regulation, decreasing stress depression, increasing — all which are crucial skills for professional practice. Methods. pilot included fifty (M = 23.5, SD 2.8) who were assessed using DASS-21 stress, anxiety, depression Self-Compassion Scale self-kindness, related before after special along with BBC-SWB questionnaire psychological, physical subjective well-being. Statistical analyses such as paired t-tests, correlation analysis hierarchical regression used to assess intervention's explore predictive relationships variables. Results. was associated significant reductions in increases mindfulness, psychological Given that states function mutually reinforcing factors, correlations provided evidence based holistic benefits program. Hierarchical showed both pre-intervention anxiety (β 0.45, p < 0.001) self-kindness 0.35, 0.05) significantly predicted These variables combined explained 52% outcome variance (R² 0.52, 0.001). Mindfulness additional 17% beyond other combined, affirming its role transformational variable within model. Conclusions. training, neuroscience principles research findings, is designed decrease suffering enhance resilience self-compassion. results call incorporating educational programs, thus enhancing personal health competence. Longitudinal studies investigating long-term effects practices their use broader range populations warranted future research.
