Since
the
creation
of
ELIZA
in
1966
and
groundbreaking
launch
ChatGPT
2022,
AI
chatbots
have
advanced
found
applications
across
various
fields,
including
English
language
education,
prompting
numerous
studies.
This
paper
presents
first
systematic
review
empirical
studies
concerning
EFL
teaching
learning
within
Vietnam,
adopting
PRISMA
flowchart
model
(Moher
et
al.,
2009)
for
article
selection,
thematic
analysis
data
analysis.
Findings
reveal
that,
although
limited,
number
on
education
Vietnam
has
been
growing,
with
around
a
quarter
published
Scopus-indexed
journals
or
book
series.
Research
settings
varied,
Ho
Chi
Minh
City
being
most
common
location.
was
dominant
chatbot,
chatbots’
influence
students’
explored
topic.
Undergraduates

on
Unified
Theory
Acceptance
and
Use
Technology
(UTAUT)
Technological
Pedagogical
Content
Knowledge
(TPACK)
framework,
a
comprehensive
model

teachers

proposed
tested.
Data
were
collected
from
276
Vietnam
through
an
online
survey.
Partial
Least
Square-Structural
Equation
Modeling
(PLS-SEM)
was
employed
analyze
data.
Results
indicate
that
intent
significantly
predicts
integration,
while
performance
expectancy,
effort
self-efficacy
are
key
intent.
AI-TPACK
emerges
as
factor,
strongly
self-efficacy,
expectancy.
Facilitation
found
be
significant
predictor
AI-TPACK.
These
findings
enhance
theoretical
framework
education
provide
valuable
insights
for
fostering
effective
integration
teachers.
