Biomass resources such as agricultural residues, forest by-products, and municipal solid waste in Nigeria are quite considerable thus could be a potentially beneficial pathway toward achieving carbon neutrality. This review looks at biomass energy promising alternative to help reduce emissions while enabling the country attain its objectives of security sustainability.
