Biomass resources such as agricultural residues, forest by-products, and municipal solid waste in Nigeria are quite considerable thus could be a potentially beneficial pathway toward achieving carbon neutrality. This review looks at biomass energy promising alternative to help reduce emissions while enabling the country attain its objectives of security sustainability. The discusses some main avenues for using various biomasses, consisting crops wastes, producing bioenergy.
