To explore the spatial distribution pattern of Tamarix chinensis population and influencing factors in muddy coastal zone Bohai Bay, we studied T. forest on beach area Beihai New District, Binzhou City, Shandong Province. A combination field investigations laboratory-based sample analyses were used to measure analyze density, height, cover, distance from sea, groundwater depth, soil salinity, basic physical properties nutrients. The results showed that coefficients variation for 18 indices between 0.03 0.96; Ca2+ Na+ content greatest, followed by those Mg2+, salt content, available phosphorus, while bulk total pH other indicators changed less. Historically, the cognition and management of cultivated land quality (CLQ) have been fragmented, leading to an inability meet contemporary scenarios requirements China's agricultural development protection. This study aimed systematically recognize concepts, elements, connotations, dimensions CLQ build a new evaluation (CQE) system. Initially, we deduced concept through clear "quality" in line with international standards. Next, connected framework farmland ecosystem service cascades clarified element structure based on ecosystems. Then, multi-level human well-being that ecosystems can provide, connotations was determined. Using Wen County within Henan Province as case site, constructed CQE system for empirical analysis comparative verification, showing better than existing one. helped clarify provided theoretical basis technical reference sustainable intensification (SI) multi-directional protection supervision land.

Drought and related water scarcity have a significant impact on crop production. The purpose of this study was to predict the yield pomegranate trees palm in southern Iran based probability future drought. We propose novel meteorological drought-based approach that can two crops 2040 by using Cellular Automata (CA)-Markov chains. From these data 2000, 2010, 2020, regression analysis determination done with most important effective indicators were identified principal component (PCA), thus leads highly accuracy. modelling results remote-sensing indices (Standardized Precipitation Index-SPI, Standardized Evapotranspiration Index-SPEI, Condition Index-PCI, Vegetation Index-VCI, Normalized Difference Index-NDVI, Temperature Index-TCI) depicted expansion drought areas parts than others regions, decreasing 2000–2020. Additionally, PCA showed NDVI, PCI, VCI determining palm’ yield, while SPEI TCI pomegranate’ yield. According CA-Markov chain regression, approximately 50–60% region will low yields 2040. provides framework what is due effects, for supporting optimal decision-making sustainable horticultural management.

The grassland ecosystem plays an important role in maintaining ecological security. This study intends to better understand the effects of climate-soil interaction on alpine and further deepen understanding plant diversity its influencing factors meadow, steppe, desert steppe Qilian Mountains China. Therefore, soil nutrient contents such as organic carbon, nitrogen, available phosphorus, ammonium nitrate-nitrogen were measured from uppermost 0–40 cm layer. In addition, regional vegetation characteristics also investigated index values determined. three types showed obvious variations content values. Alpine meadow highest nutrients, evident by greater carbon nitrogen compared steppe. With increase precipitation amounts, height number typical plants increased, but no significant impact elevation was found. Plant positively correlated with annual which primary determining Mountains. Compared other types, meadows most complex network, indicating greatest stability strong resistance environmental changes. These findings revealed a close link between species diversity, major climatic Mountains, are critical for predicting context climate change.

Seed germination and stand establishment are the first steps of crop growth development. However, low seed vigor, improper seedbed preparation, unfavorable climate, occurrence pests diseases reduces rate seedling quality, resulting in insufficient populations undesirable plant growth. coating is an effective method that being developed applied modern agriculture. It has many functions, such as improving promoting growth, reducing diseases. Yet, during procedures, several factors, difficulty biodegradation materials hindrance application chemical ingredients to seeds, force us explore reliable efficient formulations. Biochar, a novel material, may be expected enhance establishment, simultaneously ensuring agricultural sustainability, environment, food safety. Recently, biochar-based gained much interest due biochar possessing high porosity water holding capacity, well wealthy nutrients, been proven beneficial agent This review presents extensive overview on history, methods, agents coating. Additionally, biochar, promising agent, also synthesized its physico-chemical properties. Combining with we discussed detail applications coating, promotion improvement nutrition, suitable carriers for microbial inoculants, increase herbicide selectivity. Therefore, this paper could good source information current advance future perspectives
