Soil degradation has been accelerated by the use of chemical pesticides and poor agricultural practices, which had an impact on crop productivity. Recently, there a lot interest in eco-friendly biochar applications to enhance soil quality sequester carbon sustainable agriculture. This study aimed determine individual combined effects Leaf Waste Biochar (LWB) bio-control agent Trichoderma harzianum (BCA) development bacterial wilt eggplants ( Solanum melongena ) caused Ralstonia solanacearum (RS). The LWB BCA eggplant physiology defense-related biochemistry were comprehensively examined. Inoculated (+RS) un-inoculated (–RS) grown potting mixtures containing 3% 6% (v/v) LWB, both with without BCA. percentage disease index was considerably reduced (90%) plants LWB+ amended treatments. Moreover, inoculated higher phenolics, flavonoids peroxidase contents compared non-amended control. level NPK significantly increased (92.74% N, 76.47% P, 53.73% K) cultivated + composition. shown that association T. improved plant growth R. induced wilt. Eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) ranks fifth in importance among vegetable crops of the Solanaceae family, part due to high antioxidant properties and polyphenol content fruit. Along with popular purplefruited varieties S. melongena, there are cultivars, fruits which rich phenolic compounds, but whitecolored lack anthocyanin biosynthesis. Determination amount anthocyanins other as well carotenoids sugars, is included assessment quality eggplant commercial (technical) ripeness. In addition taste properties, these metabolites associated fruit resistance various stress factors. this study, a comparative analysis anthocyanins, soluble sugars (sucrose, glucose, fructose) peel pulp both technical biological ripeness was carried out purple-fruited (cv. Vlas) white-fruited Snezhny) accessions domestic selection. The biologically ripe cvs Vlas Snezhny were used for transcriptomic analysis. key genes flavonoid carotenoid metabolism, sucrose hydrolysis, sugar transport shown be differentially expressed between tissues, within each cultivar them.
