This research introduces a novel kaolin-based composite enriched with calcium and green-synthesized silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) to achieve enhanced hemostatic antibacterial properties, addressing limitations of current agents. The composite’s synthesis utilized an eco-friendly approach, incorporating for improved hemostasis Ag NPs broad-spectrum activity. Detailed characterization using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive confirmed the successful integration components their distribution within kaolin matrix. Hemostatic efficacy was evaluated through blood clotting time analysis, revealing 112-s 1% loading, which varied concentration. Antibacterial performance, assessed against Escherichia coli Staphylococcus aureus well diffusion method, demonstrated increasing inhibition zones higher content, peaking at 17.8 ± 1.4 mm 5% Ag. These findings establish potential this as effective blood-clotting agent potent offering promising solution traumatic hemorrhage control in diverse medical applications, including battlefield trauma care surgical procedures.
