Fixtures are robust mechanical clamping devices used for precise machining. It is to securely locate, hold and support the workpiece in a specific position during machining operation. micro-friction stir welding (µFSW) basically workpieces operations. Using conventional milling machine µFSW operation with simplified fixture less expensive. This paper presents design of an adjustable µFSW, which plates different thicknesses can be welded. The low-cost designed using AutoCAD software, considering transverse lateral movement tools workpieces. Later, developed setup was tested actual operations pinless tool H13 material 8 mm diameter. During operation, 0.8 thick Al6061-T6 were placed lap butt configuration successful joints obtained at constant spinning speed 2000 rpm traverse 100 mm/min. maximum strength joint found 274.40 MPa 201.25 configuration, about 87.34% 64.10% parent material's (314.19 MPa).
