ABSTRACT The aerospace industry is increasingly recognizing the imperative of transitioning towards sustainable practices to mitigate environmental impact and ensure long-term viability. This study offers a comprehensive analysis green aviation initiatives within Indian industry, focusing on current state assessment, key challenges, policy effectiveness, stakeholder perspectives, adoption technologies, economic implications, gap analysis, recommendations for advancement. Data was collected from 103 stakeholders through surveys analyzed using descriptive statistics correlation analysis. Findings reveal significant level engagement in initiatives, with high rates observed across various technologies such as biofuels, energy-efficient aircraft design, programs. However, regulatory constraints, technological limitations, cultural barriers emerge prominent challenges hindering widespread adoption. Policy effectiveness varies among stakeholders, indicating need continuous evaluation refinement. Key include enhancing coherence, fostering collaboration, investing research development, promoting public awareness. Correlation highlights positive relationships between impact, perception, implications engagement, compliance, operational efficiency, recommendations.
