Zaosheng
cattle
have
a
long
history,
closely
related
to
Qinchuan
cattle.
This
breed
is
still
under
developing
phase
from
drought
type
beef
breed.
Followed
by
years
of
improvement,
shown
certain
germline
characteristics
and
genetic
potential.
Here,
we
used
whole
genome
sequencing
data
19
91
published
genomes
understand
its
diversity,
population
structure,
environmentally
adapted
performance.
We
provide
comprehensive
overview
the
sequence
variation
in
explore
changes
due
environmental
adaptation.
The
findings
this
study
demonstrate
that
composition
was
primarily
derived
Chinese
East
Asian
indicine
cattle,
where,
were
found
be
genetically
closest.
Through
ancestral
fragment
inference
selective
sweep,
identified
several
genes
linked
lipid
metabolism,
immune
regulation,
fertility
meat
quality
across

showing
an

taurine
or
ancestry.
