The aim of this study is to investigate the potential wood composites as sustainable acoustic materials and explore their integration with advanced manufacturing techniques for improved performance. Using a comprehensive review methodology, paper analyzes recent innovations in composites, focusing on combination other such expanded polystyrene (EPS) natural fibers. results show that can achieve sound absorption coefficients (α) up 0.9, oak panels showing transmission losses 11 dB. In addition, designs, including biodegradable lightweight honeycomb structures, significantly improve loss, an average loss (TLeq) 28.3 dB reported composite made from waste tire rubber. highlights environmental benefits achieved through use agricultural byproducts industrial development these materials, confirming role carbon-neutral alternative quest green building solutions. This provides valuable insights into transformative applications.
