A
novel
partially
functional
linear
regression
model
with
random
effects
is
proposed
to
address
the
case
of
Euclidean
covariates

In
this
paper
we
present
a
new
extension
of
the
truncated
positive
normal
(TPN)
model,
called
power
normal.
This
incorporates
shape
parameter
that
provides
more
flexibility
to
model.
addition,

reparameterized
based
on
p-th
quantile
distribution
in
order
perform
regression.
The
initial
values
were
calculated
from
modification
moment
estimators,
which
allowed
maximum
likelihood
estimators
be
obtained.
A
simulation
study
carried
out
suggests
good
behavior
finite
samples.
Finally,
two
applications
using
health
databases
are
presented.
