Biofilm is a common problem associated with human health. Pathogenicity and increase in resistance of bacteria require urgent development effective ways for the treatment bacterial diseases. Different strategies have been developed infections among which nanoparticles shown greater prospects battling infections. Biofilms are resistant microbial colonies that possess and, hence, cannot be killed by conventional drugs. Nanoparticles offer new avenues treating biofilm-related involving multi-drug organisms. They great antibiofilm properties, disrupting cell architecture preventing colony formation. Green-synthesised more less toxic to cells than commercially available or chemically synthesised nanoparticles. This review summarises efficiency plant-mediated knowledge about biofilm inhibition.
