To study the changes in positron emission tomography with 2-deoxy-2-[fluorine-18]fluoro-D-glucose integrated computed (18F-FDG PET/CT) aortic target-to-background ratio (TBR) and calcification scores before after 6 cycles of chemotherapy rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, prednisone (R-CHOP) regimen patients diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). We selected 161 DLBCL who received R-CHOP standard underwent baseline 6-cycle efficacy evaluations using 18F-FDG PET/CT examinations at Second Hospital Dalian Medical University from July 2017 to June 2023. Additionally, 125 for physical examination during same period, without active malignancy or systemic inflammatory disease, were chosen as control group. measured metabolic tumor volume (MTV) total lesion glycolysis (TLG) lesions patients. Aortic wall FDG uptake was semi quantitatively analyzed TBR (target-to-blood pool ratio) five different vascular regions oncological PET/CT. The difference (ΔTBR) between post- pre-chemotherapy values. degree arterial segmental assessed CT semiquantitative method. Comparison pre-treatment group showed that (1.28 ± 0.17 vs. 1.22 0.18, P < 0.05) higher former comparing stage groups revealed (1.30 0.18 0.15, Stage III/IV compared I/II positively correlated TLG (P = 0.016, R 0.19) MTV 0.032, 0.17). Analysis treatment levels significantly post-treatment pre-treatment(P 0.05). ΔTBR value progression than complete remission group(P is related disease severity prognosis, indicating a possible effect its therapeutic interventions. This work highlights an additional potential role imaging oncology evaluating consequences on vasculature.
